Emergency Room RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work a day shift (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM) with no on-call requirements and rotating weekends.

About the Unit

This is a busy emergency department managing a diverse patient population across multiple care settings: traditional ED beds, fast track, behavioral health, and cardiac/trauma cases. You'll work alongside an experienced nursing team, paramedics, and support staff in a collaborative environment.

Clinical Scope

• Common procedures: EKGs, central line placements, airway support, trauma assists, rapid infusion, resuscitation, behavioral health de-escalation, and splinting
• Mix of acute stabilization, procedural support, and high-acuity interventions

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS

Preferred Skills

• Trauma experience
• Inpatient holding experience
• CPI training
• EMR proficiency (specific system used on-site)
