Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Oncology RN to join the cancer center team. You'll provide direct patient care in a supportive oncology environment, working with patients across various cancer diagnoses and treatment phases.
Schedule & Duration
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 89-week contract
- 40 guaranteed hours weekly
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and supportive medications
- Monitor patients for treatment side effects and complications
- Provide patient education and emotional support
- Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and care records
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in oncology nursing
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Chemotherapy certification required
- Active RN license
Holiday Expectations
You must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
