Position Overview
Join the facility's ICU as a travel nurse supporting an interdisciplinary team caring for cardiac, trauma, and neuro patients. This is a 13-week contract ideal for experienced ICU nurses seeking a structured assignment with clear expectations.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 36 hours/week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Schedule: Every third weekend
- Start Date: December 21, 2025
- Orientation: On-site, beginning at assignment start
Requirements
- 2+ years of ICU nursing experience
- Active BLS (AHA, ARC, or US Military certificates accepted)
- Active ACLS (AHA, ARC, or US Military certificates accepted)
- TNCC certification preferred (required if extending beyond initial contract)
- PALS preferred
- Valid driver's license
- One supervisory reference from the past two years
- Completed ICU-specific skills checklist
Key Details
- First-time travelers welcome
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Winter holiday commitment: Required to work 2 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day); limited to one day-off request between 11/25–11/29 and 12/23–12/27
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
