Telemetry RN – Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA | 13-Week Contract
This telemetry unit provides coordinated nursing care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and close clinical observation. The RN manages an assigned patient group, supervises nursing staff, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, outcome-focused care.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36–48 hours per week guaranteed
- Holiday RTO will not be approved
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Location: Simi Valley, CA
Clinical Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient data to formulate nursing diagnoses and care plans
- Implement and evaluate individualized interventions, adjusting as patient status evolves
- Coordinate discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Provide patient and family education
- Delegate and supervise assigned nursing staff appropriately
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Active RN license in California
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- PALS (AHA or ARC)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Proficiency with electronic health records required
- BSN preferred
