Cath Lab Technician – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Cath Lab Technician to support a multidisciplinary cardiac catheterization lab performing invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You'll work alongside cardiologists and interventional specialists in a fast-paced environment serving a STEMI-accepting facility.
Schedule & Location
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8 hours)
- On-Call: 24-hour STEMI coverage; 10–15 call days monthly (includes 2 weekends)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Residency: Must live within 50 miles of the facility
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub and monitoring duties during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Operate catheterization and radiology imaging equipment per protocol
- Adapt to multiple, changing priorities in a dynamic clinical setting
- Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with the care team
Required Qualifications
- RCIS or ARRT certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to clinical needs
