Registered Nurse – Post-Acute / Short-Term Rehab | Fairmont, WV
Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
This position is within a post-acute, short-term rehabilitation unit caring for patients transitioning from acute care. The unit supports a lower-acuity patient population focused on recovery and rehabilitation, with CNAs and a House Supervisor onsite 24/7.
Clinical Details
- Patient population: Post-acute, short-term rehab
- Respiratory equipment (ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP) in use on the unit
- RNs are not required to titrate drips
- No telemetry monitoring responsibilities
Schedule & Commitment
- 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a)
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- No on-call or standby requirement
- Cancellation policy: up to 2 shifts per contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (West Virginia)
- BLS (AHA) required
- BSN not required
- WV CARES clearance required prior to start
- Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Valid, unexpired driver's license required at submission
- Any licensing history must be disclosed at time of submission
