RN – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an RN for its Emergency Department. You'll provide direct patient care across a range of acuities, from urgent walk-ins to critical presentations. This is a fast-paced environment where strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and teamwork are essential.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Start date: November 15, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care according to facility policies, procedures, and protocols
• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team
• Coordinate care across multiple disciplines
• Execute physician and nursing orders
• Assess discharge planning needs and coordinate with team members

Requirements

• Current RN license (verification required at submission)
• Ability to complete facility-specific onboarding, including specialty exams and competency assessments
• Current immunizations and health documentation (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Influenza, Hepatitis B, TB screening, and Fit Test required)
• EPLS certification
