Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing acute and emergent patient presentations across all acuity levels.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Navy scrubs
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care following established protocols and policies
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions clearly
- Coordinate care across all disciplines to ensure seamless patient management
- Execute physician and nursing orders with precision
- Assess discharge planning needs and collaborate with the healthcare team
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (verification via Nursys required)
- EPLS certification
- Ability to perform EKGs and interpret vital signs
- Willingness to complete facility-specific competency assessments and onboarding
Health & Safety Requirements
Standard immunizations and health screening required: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB screening, and fit testing.
