Registered Nurse – NICU
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its NICU. This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed 36-hour weeks.
Shift & Schedule
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Flexible scheduling required; no block scheduling available.
Unit Description
You'll work in a Level 3 NICU providing care to high-acuity neonates. The unit is well-staffed with a Charge RN, Code Neonatal RN, Clerk, and Milk Technician to support your work.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the NICU
- Function as a float resource across units within the Women's Hospital and potentially other departments as needed (when floating, you will not carry a patient assignment)
- Wear navy blue scrubs
Required Credentials & Licenses
- Current RN license (verification via Nursys)
- Current license/certificate verification
- Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Fit test
- Color vision assessment
- Criminal background check
- EPLS certification
- Driver's license/State ID
