RN – NICU
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an RN for its Level 3 NICU. This is a 90-week contract position with guaranteed 36-hour weeks.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Scheduling: Flexible scheduling; no block scheduling
- Float Expectations: You will function as a float resource, supporting units within and outside of the Women's Hospital. As a float RN, you will not carry a patient assignment.
Unit Details
The NICU is a high-acuity Level 3 unit caring for critically ill and premature neonates. The team includes a Charge RN, Code Neonatal RN, unit clerk, and milk tech. Navy blue scrubs are the standard.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification via Nursys)
- Professional references and license/certificate verification
- Standard health screenings and immunizations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB clearance)
- EPLS certification required
Onboarding
You will complete facility-specific competency assessments, skills validation, and orientation to the charting system upon arrival. Background check and employment verification are required.
