RN – NICU
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an RN for its Level 3 NICU. This is a 13-week contract position offering 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Scheduling: Flexible scheduling required; no block scheduling
- Float Expectations: You will float as a functional float across units within the Women's Hospital and may be called to other hospital departments. Float shifts do not include direct patient assignment.
Unit Details
You'll work in a busy neonatal intensive care unit managing high-acuity newborns, including post-surgical cases and critically ill infants. The unit is staffed with a Charge RN, Code Neonatal RN, Clerk, and Milk Technician. You'll wear navy blue scrubs.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required at submission)
- Strong neonatal nursing experience
- Ability to adapt to a flexible, float-dependent schedule
- Immunizations and health screenings per facility requirements (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, PPD/IGRA, Fit Test)
- Background check and EPLS certification
