Radiologic Technologist

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract in a busy acute care radiology department. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), with weekends and holidays required. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Clinical Scope

This department performs approximately 400 imaging studies daily across five radiology rooms. You'll focus on general radiography, fluoroscopy, and operating room C-arm imaging. A radiologist is in-house 24/7 to support your work. No IV starts are required for this role.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• West Virginia state radiologic technologist license
• C-arm and fluoroscopy experience (required)
• Current, unexpired driver's license (address must be at least 50 miles from the facility)

What to Expect

• Department-specific orientation provided
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• No float assignments to other departments
• No on-call duties beyond scheduled weekend and holiday requirements
• Radiation badge must be arranged by your staffing agency

Contract Terms

Up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract may be cancelled. Previous permanent candidates must wait 2 years before reapplying; previous travelers must wait 2 years after a full year of service.
