Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility's cardiovascular operating room is seeking an experienced CVOR nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work in a high-acuity surgical environment supporting cardiac and vascular procedures, including complex endovascular cases.

Schedule & Call

• 4 × 10-hour AM shifts per week (40 hours/week)
• 48–60 hours of call every 4-week period
• Weekend call required; flexibility to schedule on your working day or day off
• On-call staff rarely retained for the full shift; early release and rest options available
• Two on-call rooms provided on-site

Clinical Scope

You'll circulate and scrub cases across 3s and 4s for cardiac and vascular procedures. Strong endovascular experience is essential. Experience in neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and robotics is preferred.

Float & Travel

You may float between three campuses with typically one day's notice for scheduled cases. On-call duties remain at your assigned location. Travel within a 50-mile radius; this is a non-local assignment.

Requirements

• Current GA or compact nursing license
• Demonstrated expertise in endovascular procedures
• Ability to adapt to multiple surgical environments
