Radiology Technologist – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced acute care setting. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), Monday through Friday, supporting approximately 35 patient visits daily across the radiology department.
Clinical Scope
You'll deliver radiation therapy and imaging support for oncology patients, with a focus on:
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
- Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
- Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT)
- Patient positioning, simulation, and treatment delivery
- Common cancer types: breast, prostate, lung, and head and neck
Training on Elekta equipment is available if needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (first-timers considered with strong backgrounds)
- Current BLS and ARRT T certification
- Valid state compact license in hand at submission
- Able to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Assignment Details
- Scrubs: Black
- Floating: Yes, you may float to nearby sister facilities as needed
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
- Block Schedule: Accommodated at manager's discretion
- Orientation: 8 hours, plus onboarding modules
- Parking: Free
Important Notes
Request all RTO and scheduling preferences upfront during submission. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may result in assignment termination. You'll provide two professional references covering the past year (within the last three years).
