Position Overview

Clinical Scope

This role encompasses general surgery, orthopedic (including total joint replacement and spine procedures), gynecologic, urologic, ENT, and plastic surgery cases. You'll support both traditional and robotic-assisted procedures, including hysterectomies, joint replacements, hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, laminectomies, and prostatectomies. The unit serves patients across all age groups.

Scheduling & Staffing

• 1 Saturday shift per 6-week rotation
• 2–3 on-call shifts per 6-week rotation
• Possible float to nearby sister facilities
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of surgical technician experience
• BLS certification
• Valid state license (compact license required at submission)
• Two professional references covering the last 3 years

• 11 operating rooms
