Interventional Radiology Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's interventional radiology department is seeking an experienced IR Nurse for a 13-week contract. This is a day shift role (7:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday) supporting a busy IR suite performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Clinical Scope
You'll assist with a wide range of minimally invasive procedures, including:
- PICC line and port placements
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis
- Kyphoplasty and ablations
- Endoscopic retrograde sphincterotomy (ESI)
- EKOS thrombolysis for PE
- Trevo thrombectomy for acute stroke
Requirements
- Current NH nursing license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- ARRT certification
- Proven IR or Cath Lab experience
- IR Neuro experience is a plus
Schedule & Expectations
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- On-call every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weeknight per week
- Hospital-provided scrubs
