Telemetry RN — Medical Telemetry Unit | Asheville, NC
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: October 19, 2026
This Telemetry/Medical unit serves a diverse adult patient population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and step-down level care. Nurses on this unit also prepare patients for procedures including endoscopy, interventional radiology, and surgery.
Unit Details:
- Active, fast-paced telemetry floor with a strong team culture
- Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse, multiple RNs, CNAs, and a unit coordinator
- Float requirement to sister Med-Surgical units within the facility
Schedule & Expectations:
- 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday qualify as weekend shifts)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Required Certifications & Skills:
- BLS (required)
- Medical telemetry experience (required)
- CMSRN (encouraged)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Charge nurse or leadership experience
- BSN
Dress Code: Navy blue scrub top and bottom, white top with navy blue bottom, or all white
