Radiologic Technologist

Position Overview

The facility's imaging department is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and X-Ray examinations with precision and clinical excellence. You'll use independent judgment and technical expertise to produce high-quality radiography for diagnosis and treatment planning.

Shift & Schedule

• 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Monday–Thursday
• 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
• No call required
• 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations using proper technical factors
• Evaluate radiographs for optimal exposure and positioning
• Schedule exams and educate patients on preparation requirements
• Set up and organize imaging rooms for procedures
• Maintain accurate records and communicate findings with clinical staff

Required Qualifications

• ARRT Registry certification
• Manual dexterity and ability to operate imaging equipment
• Capacity to lift and move patients (with or without assistance) and equipment weighing 20+ pounds
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and staff
• Ability to make independent decisions and problem-solve in dynamic environments
• Visual and hearing acuity to interact effectively with patients
• Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and emergency situations
• Commitment to patient confidentiality

Physical Demands

Frequent standing, bending, stooping, and moderate lifting. Agility required for position changes throughout shifts.
