Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Bowling Green, KY
Position Overview
Join the facility's Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to provide skilled nursing care to patients transitioning through acute and intermediate acuity settings.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: August 31, 2026
What You'll Do
You'll deliver direct patient care in a PCU environment, managing post-operative recovery, monitoring cardiac and telemetry patients, and supporting those with complex medical needs. Your scope includes medication administration, wound care, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe transitions of care.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Kentucky)
- BLS certification required
- Experience in progressive care, acute care, or similar intermediate-acuity setting preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
