Registered Nurse – Float Pool Position

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week float pool assignment in a dynamic healthcare environment. You'll work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts across multiple units, providing direct patient care and supporting diverse clinical needs.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour rotating days/nights (3 x 12s per week)
• One week per four-week rotation includes three 8-hour shifts and one 12-hour shift
• Weekends and holidays required
• 72 hours guaranteed biweekly (does not include on-call time)
• Start date: January 8, 2026

Requirements

• Current RN license (must apply for both temporary and permanent licensure at time of offer)
• 1–3 years related nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• EMR experience
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate web-based applications
• COVID and flu vaccines required (medical exemptions acceptable)

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching hospital experience
• Specialty area expertise
• Level I trauma experience

Additional Information

• Weekly orientation begins Mondays
• Relocation required: must reside outside 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates who worked at the facility as permanent or per diem staff within the past 12 months are not eligible
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
