Psychiatric Nursing Position

Assignment Overview

The facility is seeking a registered nurse for its psychiatric unit. This is a 13-week contract position based in Wichita, Kansas, with a start date of November 8, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Days: 4 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Call: None
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
• Attire: Ceil blue scrubs

Unit Details

You'll work with patients requiring psychiatric and behavioral health care. Be prepared to float to similar units on the same campus or to other campuses within the Wichita area as needed.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Kansas)
• BLS or ACLS certification preferred
• Standard pre-employment health screening (vaccinations, TB testing, drug screen)
• Background check clearance
• Ability to pass EHR competency testing
