Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Position Details
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights)
- Schedule: 4 x 12-hour shifts; every other weekend
- No call required
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Start Date: November 8, 2026
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit, managing patients across the full spectrum of acute care needs. You may float to similar units on the same campus or to partner locations within the Wichita area.
What We're Looking For
- Current nursing license (RN)
- Valid state licensure verification
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements
- Strong clinical foundation in medical-surgical nursing
Onboarding Requirements
Standard health screening and vaccinations (MMR, Hepatitis B, influenza, varicella, Tdap), TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA), fit testing, criminal background check, and verification of education and employment. ACLS/EPLS certification required.
Scrubs & Environment
Blue scrubs. You'll work with electronic charting systems and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced acute care setting.
