Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Assignment Overview
Join the facility's medical-surgical unit for a 13-week contract. You'll care for patients across a range of acute medical and surgical conditions in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights)
- Schedule: 4 days per week, every other weekend
- Call: None required
- Float: You may be assigned to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within the Wichita area
What You'll Need
- Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
- EPLS certification (required at onboarding)
- Standard immunizations and health screening per facility policy
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
- Start Date: November 8, 2026
Unit Environment
You'll work in a traditional inpatient medical-surgical setting, wearing ceil blue scrubs. The unit manages patients with varying acuity levels and diagnoses requiring skilled nursing assessment, medication management, and patient education.
