Medical-Surgical Nursing Position

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 4 x 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Every other weekend; no on-call
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
• Uniform: Ceil blue scrubs

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit, supporting patients across a range of acute care needs. You may float to similar units on the same campus or to another campus within Wichita, depending on operational needs.

Requirements

• Active nursing license (Nursys verification required)
• Current license/certificate verification
• EPLS certification

Onboarding & Health Requirements

Standard facility onboarding includes immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap), tuberculosis screening (2-step PPD or IGRA), fit testing, criminal background check, and skills/competency validation. You'll complete EKG exam training and electronic health record (EHR) system orientation prior to your first shift.

Professional references, education verification, and employment verification are required.
