MRI Technologist – Imaging
Position Overview
The facility's Imaging Department is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join the evening shift. You'll perform high-quality MRI scans, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain precise technical standards in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: Thursday–Sunday, 12:30 PM–11 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Weekly Guarantee: 40 hours
- Scheduling Flexibility: Ability to request one weekend shift per week as needed
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (through October 10, 2026)
Key Requirements
- 2+ years recent MRI experience
- Hands-on experience with GE Signa 1.5 Tesla systems
- 2+ years U.S. work experience (required for non-U.S. candidates)
- Current NYS Radiology Technologist license, certified to perform IV injections
- Current ARRT, ARRT(N), CNMT, or RDMS certification
- AHA BLS certification
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
What You'll Do
Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images, explain procedures to patients, monitor vital signs during scans, maintain equipment functionality, and adhere to all safety protocols and imaging standards.
This is a straightforward travel contract ideal for technologists seeking consistent evening hours and schedule predictability.
