MRI Technologist
Position Overview
The facility's imaging department is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort in a busy imaging environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Rotation: 4 x 10-hour days per week, 40 hours total
- Days/Times: Monday and Tuesday 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Flexibility for one weekend shift per week may be requested
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (through October 10, 2026)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent MRI experience
- Proficiency with MRI equipment
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for international candidates
- Current New York State Radiology Technologist license
- Certification required: ARRT, ARRT(N), CNMT, or RDMS
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Qualified to administer IV contrast injections
- Residency requirement: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
