MedSurg/Tele Float RN – Days | Brockton, MA | 16-Week Contract

This float pool position covers multiple Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units, requiring a clinician who is confident, adaptable, and comfortable with high-acuity patients across diverse care settings.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Most Fridays required; no extended RTO or specific schedule requests accommodated

Clinical Scope

• Float coverage across up to 5 MedSurg/Tele units
• Independent telemetry strip interpretation required
• On-site telemetry competency exam on Day 1 (minimum score: 84%; two attempts allowed)
• Patients include acute medical and telemetry-monitored populations

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent acute care experience
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and IV management
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification
• Must demonstrate ability to adapt quickly across units

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of float pool or multi-unit experience
• Comfort managing varying patient populations and workflows independently
