Registered Nurse – ICU
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 8 weeks
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week
About the Role
The facility's ICU is seeking an experienced RN to deliver coordinated, high-quality nursing care for acute patients. You will supervise and direct assigned nursing staff, collaborate across disciplines, and apply critical thinking to guide patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and analyze data to determine diagnoses and care priorities.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing team members.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams in a safe, healing environment.
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and manage team duties.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in California.
- At least 2 years recent acute care experience.
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification.
- Current experience with electronic health records systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
