Operating Room RN — Travel Contract | Boston, MA

Shift: 4 x 10-hour evenings | Includes short call, weekend call, and night call rotation

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

About the Role

This OR travel position supports a high-volume surgical service line covering a broad range of specialties. The unit manages patients undergoing procedures in Gynecology, General Surgery, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedics (including joint replacements and sports medicine), Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, and Interventional Pulmonology.

Scrub experience is required. Candidates must have demonstrated orthopedic scrub experience to be considered.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license (may apply at time of offer; must pursue both temp and permanent licensure)
• BLS/CPR — AHA
• Minimum 1–3 years of OR experience
• Scrub experience required; orthopedic experience required
• EMR experience required; familiarity with provider order entry systems preferred
• COVID vaccine required (medical exemption accepted)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemption accepted)

• Orientation: Weekly, every Monday (excluding holidays)
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Non-local candidates only — applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have worked at this facility as permanent staff or per diem within the past year are not eligible
