Obstetrics Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OB nurse for a day shift position on the labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery unit. This is a 13-week contract role.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every third weekend required
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Clinical Responsibilities
You'll provide direct patient care across the full spectrum of obstetric nursing:
- Labor & delivery support and monitoring
- Postpartum assessments and teaching
- Recovery room care
When census allows, you'll float to the medical-surgical floor to support broader unit needs.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- OB nursing experience preferred
- Flexibility and strong communication skills
