Telemetry Float Position
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced RN for a 12-hour float assignment across multiple medical-surgical and telemetry units. This is a 13-week contract beginning November 30, 2026.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week, 3 days on/3 days off rotation
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- Most Fridays will be scheduled; limited time-off availability
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and IV administration
- Strong ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
- Must pass on-site competency exam on Day 1 with 84% or better (2 attempts allowed)
- Experience with electronic health records systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years of float pool or cross-unit experience
- Demonstrated adaptability working across 5 different medical-surgical and telemetry units
- Quick learner comfortable transitioning between patient populations and clinical settings
