ICU Registered Nurse | Night Shift | Hanford, CA

13-Week Travel Contract | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

This ICU position is based at an acute care facility in Hanford, CA, located in California's Central Valley — a charming, family-friendly community within an hour of Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks.

The Role

You'll deliver coordinated nursing care to a high-acuity ICU patient population, applying critical thinking and independent clinical judgment throughout the nursing process. Responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and care planning
• Implementation of individualized care strategies to promote safety and positive outcomes
• Collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Supervision and delegation to assigned nursing staff
• Patient and family education
• Active participation in discharge planning for continuity of care

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in California (or compact equivalent)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• BSN preferred
