Operating Room Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced OR nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll join the surgical team in a fast-paced operating room environment, supporting a variety of surgical procedures and patient populations.

Schedule & Hours

• Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, four 10-hour days per week
• Hours: 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Call: On-call 2 times per month, plus weekend call every 6th weekend
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required

What You'll Do

You'll provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, maintain sterile field integrity, manage surgical instrumentation, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, specimen handling, and adherence to surgical protocols.
