Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) position on a 12-week contract. You'll deliver coordinated nursing care using the nursing process, supervise assigned nursing staff, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, compassionate patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient data and analyze findings to determine care needs and diagnoses
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans with measurable outcomes
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing team members
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare providers
- Educate patients and families about health and wellness
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate team responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an AHA-approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification
- At least 2 years of recent acute care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Contract Details
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
