Echo Sonographer | Non-Invasive Cardiology | San Antonio, TX

This 13-week contract places an Echo Sonographer in a high-volume non-invasive cardiology unit performing 75–80 procedures per day, with the majority being portable studies. The role requires the ability to work independently across a busy caseload.

Shift & Schedule

• Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Call requirements: Yes
• Weekend expectations: Discussed during interview

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based echocardiography experience
• Active RCS or RDCS credential (ARDMS required)
• BLS certification
• Ability to perform complete echocardiograms independently
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and disease processes

Preferred Skills

• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Stress echocardiography
• Vascular imaging experience

Floating

Candidates must be willing to float per the facility's floating policy. This will be discussed during the interview.

Dress Code

• Sage tops, black bottoms
• Hair neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors
• Beards and facial hair must be neatly trimmed
• Body art covered when possible
• Visible piercings limited to ears only
