Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. You'll assess patients for appropriate treatment types and frequencies, develop individualized care plans, and implement advanced respiratory care modalities based on patient diagnosis and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with respiratory conditions
- Assess patient needs and develop tailored care plans
- Implement and monitor equipment and patient responses
- Perform advanced respiratory care procedures
- Document and communicate patient status to the care team
- Administer medications and evaluate treatment effectiveness
- Educate patients and families about conditions and available community resources
- Respond to code situations as needed
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Schedule: Up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period; holidays as needed
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: October 16, 2026
Required Credentials
- NBRC certification
- Current Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy license
- ACLS/BLS certification
- Physical exam and required immunizations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB screening)
- Background check and drug screening
