Medical/Surgical Nursing Manager

Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Role Overview
The facility is seeking a registered nurse to serve as Medical/Surgical Nursing Manager. You will oversee patient care delivery, supervise nursing staff, and manage MS operations with a focus on clinical excellence and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop nursing staff on the Medical/Surgical unit
- Ensure high-quality patient care and safe clinical workflows
- Collaborate with the leadership team on resource management and operational planning
- Lead quality improvement initiatives specific to the MS department
- Support staff development and professional growth
Requirements
- Current RN license (Colorado)
- Proven nursing leadership and management experience
- Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required
- Reliable personal transportation (rural setting with no public transit)
