Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll provide direct patient care on a med/surg telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions and managing post-operative recovery.

Shift & Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 13, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (required in hand at submission)
• Valid Ohio nursing license or current Compact State license
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (within past 12 months; no peer references)
• Willingness to complete facility-required modules and competency assessments during orientation
• Background check and drug screen compliance

What to Expect

• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation (2 attempts to pass)
• Annual hands-on competency requirements if contract extends beyond 12 months
• Standard onboarding and orientation support

Contract Terms

• Extensions available up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows unless deferred by facility approval
• Candidates with prior Cleveland Clinic employment must observe a 1-year return wait period from their previous end date
