Respiratory Therapist – NICU

Position Overview

The facility seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a seasonal assignment in the NICU. This is a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Start date: October 12, 2026

Unit & Clinical Scope

You'll provide respiratory care to neonatal intensive care patients, managing airways and ventilators across a range of acuity levels. The unit uses advanced ventilation technology including high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) and conventional modes. Your responsibilities include airway management, ventilator management, and emergency department support.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months current NICU RRT experience
• Level III NICU experience
• Pediatric experience
• NBRC Certification
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical care experience
• PICU experience
• Prior experience with relevant charting systems
