Laboratory Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Laboratory Technologist (MLT or MT) to perform laboratory tests and accurately report results to support physician decision-making in diagnosis, treatment, and disease monitoring. You'll work independently and collaboratively, maintaining quality standards and laboratory equipment while assisting in the overall operation of the lab.
Responsibilities
- Perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory testing with precision
- Report results accurately and timely to physicians
- Participate in quality assurance programs
- Maintain laboratory equipment and operational standards
- Provide general supervision for lab testing after successful probation
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related specialty from an accredited institution
- National certification (AMT or ASCP) required; certification/registry eligibility as MLT or MT
- Strong knowledge of medical technology principles, methods, materials, equipment, and techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment
- Phlebotomy skills required

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
