Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Utica, NY

This is a 13-week contract opportunity in a busy Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population that spans newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients.

Shift Details

• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Guaranteed 48 hours weekly
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Floating required

Clinical Scope

The ED manages high-acuity presentations including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Nurses are expected to provide care across all patient populations, including SANE patients. The department includes acute care, , clinical decision, psychiatric, and fast-track care areas.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience, including some pediatric experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Active New York RN license (verified and in good standing)
• Current certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission:
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• TNCC
• Skills checklist matching ED specialty
