IMCU / PCU Registered Nurse — Utica, NY

13-Week Contract | Day Shift | 4×12 Hours

This intermediate care unit manages a high-acuity adult population (18+) with a broad range of diagnoses, including neurological conditions, cardiac events (MI, CV stepdown), respiratory illness (COPD), DKA, sepsis, trauma, and post-operative care.

Shift Details

• 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Floating required

Clinical Scope

Nurses in this unit will work with patients requiring:

• Temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, and arterial lines
• BiPAP and chronic ventilator management (respiratory therapy support available for vent-dependent patients)
• Dedicated neurological care within a specialized sub-unit

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active New York RN license (verified via NURSYS report)
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Submission Requirements

• Resume reflecting 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience, including any travel assignments
• Completed specialty skills checklist
• Valid driver's license matching submitted demographics
• All RTO requests included at time of submission
