Registered Nurse – Med/Surg/Tele
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract on a Medicine/Surgery/Telemetry unit in Cleveland, OH. You'll care for patients across the medical and surgical spectrum, managing complex presentations and providing telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 x 12-hour rotating night shifts
- Holiday and weekend rotation required
- No guaranteed hours; overtime paid at regular rate
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to patients meeting Medicine or Med/Surg/Tele admission criteria
- Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to manage complex patient needs
- Monitor telemetry and respond to cardiac changes
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg/Tele nursing experience (higher-level proficiency required)
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association (required before start date)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other Magnet-recognized professional credential
- 1–2 years of additional Med/Surg or Tele experience
