Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Unit
Position Overview
The facility seeks a Registered Nurse for a medical/surgical unit in Cleveland, Ohio. You'll provide direct patient care in a busy med/surg environment, managing patients with medicine or med/tele status. This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)
- Days: 7am–7pm
- Nights: 7pm–7am
- Three shifts per week
Clinical Responsibilities
- Deliver care to patients at med/surg acuity level
- Monitor and manage patients on telemetry
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of med/surg or telemetry experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association — required before start date
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Additional nursing certification recognized by the Magnet Association
- 1–2 years of med/surg or tele experience
