Hospital Pharmacist – Richmond, VA

Evenings/Nights | 36 Hours Guaranteed | 24-Week Contract

This is a long-term pharmacy travel opportunity supporting a high-acuity inpatient hospital setting in Richmond, Virginia. The pharmacy team is experienced and well-tenured, with a collaborative environment and access to robust clinical decision-support resources.

Shift Details

• Evening/Night coverage: 16:00–03:30
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No floating required
• Start date: November 9, 2026

Patient Population & Clinical Scope

The pharmacy supports complex inpatient cases including trauma, burn, critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, and ECMO patients. Daily responsibilities include IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Advanced dosing competencies: Vancomycin AUC, aminoglycosides, renal dosing, warfarin, enoxaparin, heparin, DOACs, and electrolyte protocols
• Familiarity with IV compounding workflows and clinical pharmacy systems

Certifications & Licensure

• Active Virginia State Pharmacist license required

Dress Code

• Scrubs; silver or purple preferred
