Pharmacist

Pharmacist — Inpatient Pharmacy | Richmond, VA

Nights | 20:30–07:00 | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week | 24-Week Contract

This inpatient pharmacy role supports a high-acuity patient population that includes trauma, burn, critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, and ECMO cases. You'll be part of a seasoned pharmacy team known for clinical depth and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities include:

• IV verification and medication verification
• IV compounding as needed
• Complex pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic drug monitoring

Advanced clinical skills required:

• Vancomycin AUC dosing
• Aminoglycoside and renal dosing
• Warfarin, enoxaparin, heparin, and DOAC management
• Electrolyte replacement protocols

Requirements:

• Active Virginia State Pharmacist license
• Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with IV workflow software and automated dispensing systems
• No floating required

Schedule:

• Night shift: 20:30–07:00
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
