Operating Room Nurse – Orthopedic Surgery

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced OR nurse to join its orthopedic surgery team. You'll support a variety of cases including total joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures, and orthopedic trauma repair.

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: 4 × 10-hour day shifts per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of operating room experience
• Strong background in orthopedic surgery, total joints, arthroscopic scopes, and neurosurgery preferred
• Current RN license (Georgia)
• BLS certification required

What You'll Do

Circulate and scrub orthopedic cases ranging from routine joint replacements to complex trauma procedures. You'll work alongside experienced surgeons and OR teams in a fast-paced surgical environment, managing instruments, supplies, and patient positioning while maintaining strict sterile protocols.
