Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, monitoring and managing patients with telemetry needs across various diagnoses.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour rotating shifts: Day (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and Night (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands
- Must work at least every other holiday
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: November 13, 2026
Potential Float Assignments
You may float to adjacent units to care for similar patient populations as staffing needs require.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of permanent, full-time experience in medical/surgical telemetry nursing
- Current, permanent Ohio license or active compact state license (required at time of submission)
- Active certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty (required; no peer references)
- Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
- Willingness to comply with facility background check and drug screening requirements
