Location: Palmdale, CA
Contract Duration: 12 weeks
Schedule:
- Full-time days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday – Thursday (5 x 8-hour days)
- Guaranteed hours
Position Overview:
The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its rehabilitation team. You'll work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide direct patient care, assist with therapeutic exercises, and support patients throughout their recovery journey.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans under PT supervision
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Document patient progress and outcomes
- Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment
- Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Current PTA licensure (California)
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
