CVICU / CTICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift

White Plains, NY | 13-Week Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

This acute care unit specializes in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic intensive care, managing high-acuity post-operative patients — including fresh open heart cases beginning on post-op day zero. Nurses must be comfortable with complex cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic management, and rapid intervention in a demanding critical care environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 34.5 hours per week

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: November 2, 2026

Requirements

• BSN required
• Active RN license
• Minimum 1–2 years CVICU or CTICU experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage fresh post-cardiac-surgery patients (POD 0)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Flu vaccination required — no exemptions accepted
